Brace Direct sells orthopedic bracing to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. AI is built into most business software today, including the tools we use. Here is where it shows up in our work and where it does not.
Where We Use AI
Product Information
We use AI to help draft and organize product page content from manufacturer documentation, so we capture every detail they provide: sizing, materials, indications, features, and care instructions.
Photography
Our photography is shot in our own studio, on real people wearing the real product. We use AI to enhance those photographs for marketing, things like lighting, backgrounds, and image quality. We are working toward watermarking any images that have AI generated content within them. The orthopedic device you see in our images are the real brace/support that we have photographed, but some models/backgrounds may be AI generated.
Everything Is Reviewed by a Person
AI-assisted content does not go live on bracedirect.com without a member of our team reading it, checking it against the manufacturer's documentation, and approving it.

Every review and testimonial on this site comes from a real customer.

We do not use your data to set your price
The personal information you give us is never used to change what you pay. We do not run your data through an algorithm to decide what to charge you, and we do not show one person a higher price than another. The price you see is the price everyone sees.

We do not use AI to answer your questions
Our chat starts with a virtual assistant that takes your name and email so we can get you to the right US-Based Bracing Specialist. It does not answer questions about your condition, your fit, or your care.

We will not invent a patient, put words in their mouth, or use a generated person to imply a recovery, a result, or an endorsement. Every patient story on this site is from an actual person who agreed to share it.

Nothing here replaces guidance from your physician, physical therapist, or orthotist. Whether a brace suits your condition, and what size you need, are clinical decisions for you and your provider.
Your Information
We do not put your personal information, order details, or health-related information into public AI tools. The AI in our workflow is applied to product data, manufacturer documentation, and marketing content, not to your records.
Conversations with our customer care team may be recorded and used internally for training and quality. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.
