Sizing Guide

• Select your replacement part by name from the drop down, not by body measurement
• Standard frame length is recommended for patients 5 ft 5 in. to 6 ft 4 in. tall
• Short frame length is recommended for patients under 5 ft 5 in. tall

How to Wear / Fit

1. Sit down and extend the leg, then release all strap tension: on braces with SmartDosing turn both dials counterclockwise to the 0 position, and on braces with the dosing ratchet press the button on the ratchet and move it to the 0 position
2. Bend the knee to 90 degrees, open the upper and lower buckles and pull the buckle buttons out of the keyholes
3. To replace a DFS strap, unfold the old strap from its alligator clip, unthread it from the frame, then thread the new strap the same way and fold it back into the clip
4. To replace a popliteal pad, position the pad flat where the DFS straps cross behind the knee and confirm it is not wrinkled
5. To replace keyhole caps, press each new cap into the thigh or calf shell keyhole until it seats flush
6. To replace a hinge arm screw, seat the screw in the hinge arm and tighten until snug, do not overtighten
7. Refit the brace with the hinge on the affected side, align the Ossur logo on the hinge with the upper edge of the kneecap, snap the blue lower buckle button into the blue calf shell keyhole, then bend the knee to 80 degrees and snap the yellow upper buckle button into the yellow thigh shell keyhole
8. Adjust strap length, set the dials or the ratchet to the 5 position, then trim the straps starting with the calf strap so the alligator clips sit away from the area behind the knee
