  • The VRTX TX Collar Set is a universal fit device. No circumference measurement is required.
  • Height is adjusted using the precision dial: pull out to unlock, turn clockwise to raise the chin piece until it supports the chin, then release to self-lock.
  • Verify fit using the 4-point Chin-Dots check: chin plastic flush with chin tip (dots hidden), neutral head alignment, collar snug, airway clear.
  • Must be fitted by a qualified healthcare practitioner as directed by a physician.

How to Wear / Fit

  1. NOTE: Must be applied by a trained healthcare practitioner as directed by a physician. With head in neutral alignment, Press back panel onto bed and slide behind patient's neck (loop straps between ear and trapezius)
  2. Front panel at lowest setting - slide up chest, Pivot up and under chin, Position sides over trapezius muscles
  3. Hold collar against chest, Pull dial to unlock, Turn clockwise to raise chin piece until it supports chin, Release to self-lock
  4. Attach loop straps on each side - anchor fingers on collar, Peel strap back, Tighten, Reattach
  5. Tighten both sides equally for a snug symmetrical fit
  6. Verify fit: Chin-Dots hidden, Neutral alignment, Collar snug, Airway clear.
