  • Stand upright in the shoes you wear most often with your arms relaxed at your sides
  • Measure from the floor to the crease of your wrist, that measurement is your cane height
  • Set the cane to that height and confirm the adjustment is locked
  • Your elbow should bend about 15 to 20 degrees when you hold the handle
  • If you fall between 2 settings, choose the lower setting for better control

How to Wear / Fit

  1. Set the cane height so the top of the handle lines up with the crease of your wrist while you stand upright
  2. Confirm the height adjustment is locked before putting weight on the cane
  3. Hold the cane in the hand opposite your weaker or painful leg
  4. Move the cane forward at the same time as the weaker leg, Then step through with the stronger leg
