How to Wear / Fit

  1. Place the ComforTrac Lumbar device on a firm, Flat surface
  2. Loosen and fully extend the adjustable straps to the sides
  3. Press the release button on the pump to confirm device is in neutral position
  4. Lie down so that your torso is on the side of the device labeled upper
  5. Fasten both adjustable straps over your torso and lower hips
  6. Place feet flat on the floor without impeding the traction slide
  7. Gradually pump the hand pump until you reach the clinician-recommended traction force
  8. Monitor the gauge and never exceed your prescribed force
  9. When treatment is complete, Press the release button to release traction
  10. Loosen the adjustable straps and relax for a few minutes before getting up
  11. For intermittent traction: press and hold the release button to retract, Then pump back to desired force
