  • Youth: Foot length 5–6 inches; max calf circumference 14 inches

Sizing Guide

  • Foot length: Measure heel-to-toe while standing, or trace the foot on paper and measure the longest point.
  • Calf circumference: Measure around the widest part of the calf while seated with the knee at about 90 degrees.
  • Check your measurements against the size options. Select the size where your foot length fits the range and your calf is at or below the listed maximum circumference.

How to Wear / Fit

  1. Open all straps and lay the AFO flat. Position the heel so it rests in the pressure-free heel pocket.
  2. Slide the foot into the orthosis, aligning the heel fully back and the arch centered. Ensure toes lay flat inside the footplate.
  3. Secure the foot straps first, then wrap and secure the ankle and calf straps until snug.
  4. Use the elastic pull straps and calf extensions to apply a gentle stretch as directed by your clinician—supportive, never painful.
  5. Stand or transfer with assistance if needed. Check skin and circulation (no numbness, tingling, or color change) and confirm the non-skid bottom is stable.
