I thought I had twisted my ankle real bad, so I ordered the air cam fracture boot. I've had one before and it worked great. The one I had before did not have the pump up action that actually holds your ankle and foot in place tight and lo. cks it in place. When I walked into the emergency room on saturday afternoon to get my foot extra, I found out that I had two compound fractures in my ankle and had to have surgery right away or I could lose my left foot. Using the Air Walker Cam Fracture Boot, Is what I feel saved me from having to have my ankle and foot amputated. It held my ankle secure and in place until I could get to the emergency room plus if I did put pressure on my ankle I could barely feel it because my ankle was so secure 5 stars for this product.
