  4. Wrap the brace around the knee so the hinges line up with the center of the kneecap on both sides
  5. secure the bottom Velcro tab
  6. Wrap the top portion around the thigh and secure the top Velcro tab, keeping the hinges aligned and the brace snug
  7. Thread the bottom strap through the bottom D-ring and tighten to secure
