Sizing Guide

• Have the patient stand or sit with the leg straight.
• Locate the center of the kneecap (mid-patella).
• Measure 6 in. (15 cm) up the thigh from the center of the kneecap.
• At that point, wrap a measuring tape around the thigh to measure circumference.
• Keep the tape snug but not compressing the tissue.
• If the measurement is 27 in. (69 cm) or less, select Regular. If 27 in. to 35 in. (69-89 cm), select XL.
• Choose brace length based on leg length: 16 in. for shorter legs, 24 in. for average, 28 in. for taller patients.

How to Wear / Fit

1. Set the ROM hinge to the prescribed flexion and extension limits before applying the brace.
2. Open all straps and lay the brace flat.
3. Slide the leg into the brace, centering the hinge over the knee joint line.
4. Adjust the breakaway struts for proper length if needed (no tools required).
5. Secure the thigh and calf straps, starting from closest to the knee and working outward.
6. Verify the hinge is aligned with the knee joint center.
7. Have the patient flex and extend to confirm the ROM settings are correct.
8. Readjust straps for a secure but comfortable fit
