But I have a lot of definition in my legs even being a bigger person and it gapped and was baggy around the knee which is where I needed the support so I returned it. I could tell it was a good quality but the larger sizes are definitely fitted for people that have very consistent girth in their leg and not with a lot of definition

We followed the directions and measured the spots around my knee just as the website said. My top measured in one size bracket and below my knee measured in a smaller size bracket. Since I carry more weight in my thigh, we ordered the larger bracket figuring we could use the strap to cinch it tighter. When it arrived the entire brace was way too big. I cannot wear it because no matter how hard we pull the straps, as soon as I stand it just falls to the ground. Even with the straps pulled as tight as we can get them, the hole behind the knee isn’t a hole at all. It just gaps and falls off. I’m pretty disappointed as I really needed the brace for my knee. The quality of the brace is great and the support I felt on either side when I was sitting was great but overall the brace is just to big and unwearable. It’s very disappointing because I really needed it for my injured knee.

I had both knees replaced. Afterwards in PT, I tore all of the muscles that make up the quadriceps. I had a second surgery and had to wear a similar brace for 23 hours a day for 4 months. My original brace was worn out and replacing it would have cost me $400! I found this little beauty online and it's perfect. It's every bit as sturdy as the $400 one. Strapped properly and tightly, mine will stay where it's supposed to be until bedtime.
